Overview

Jackson Lifts are the UK’s largest independent Lift, Escalator and Cradle maintenance providers. They also install, modernise and refurbish existing lifts and escalators, including the following:

  • High-Speed Passenger Lifts
  • Goods/Passenger Lifts
  • Service Lifts and Dumbwaiters
  • Mobility Lifts (Stair Lifts, Hoists, Through-floor Lifts, Domestic Lifts)
  • Vehicle Lifts
  • Building maintenance units including cradles, gantries, rail systems and davits

Situation

Zicam Electrical Group Ltd was selected to provide Electrical Services for Jacksons Lifts, which includes but not limited to the below services:

  • Lift shaft lighting and motor room lighting upgrades
  • Emergency Lighting upgrades
  • New main supplies
  • New 3 phase isolators and consumer units
  • Motor room heating upgrades
  • Motor Electrical Distribution
  • Tubular heating installations

All work is completed to EN81-20/50 which is the European standard for elevators.

 


Contract Delivery:

An image of an elevator shaft.Prior to commencing works on site our Project Management team conducted a needs assessment.   This compiled of understanding the client’s specific requirements, site layout, potential risks, and any regulatory compliance that needs to be considered.

The electrical works are carried out according to the agreed-upon plan and specifications provided by Jacksons Lifts.

The contract is regularly monitored for progress of the project, ensuring that it stays on schedule and within budget. Open communication is maintained with the council to address any issues or changes that may arise during the process.

Once the electrical works are completed for each site,  final inspection and testing is conducted to ensure everything is functioning correctly and meets the required standards.

All necessary documentation, certifications, and warranties are handed over.

Post-project reviews are regularly completed to assess the performance and overall success of the project.
